LOGO, the new LGBT channel from MTV Networks and Viacom launching in February 2005, is developing a documentary project for GLBT sports. The documentary will follow three gay or lesbian athletes as they learn, compete, train, or otherwise engage with the world of sports - and have a story to tell along the way.

We're looking for three individuals who are going through a process that we can document such as training for a national-level event; preparing for a gay or lesbian league tournament where a parent will attend for the first time; dealing with a rivalry with a former partner or lover; overcoming a lifelong fear of the field just in time for the annual family reunion football game, etc.

I'm getting in touch with teams, leagues, etc. who might have interested (and interesting) players. To send yours or request more information, email: logosports@mtvstaff.com and be sure to include your name and contact information along with your story! Thanks,
Amy Brill
