What is the average age for members of the league?

The Unity Basketball League is for anyone age 18 and over. The average age hasn't been calculated, although the majority of the players are in their 20's, 30's, and 40's.

Can I wait to register at the open gym?

Yes. The open gym gives you the opportunity to preview the league and get to know some of the players at no cost to you. A registration discount is available to any player who pays in full by the end of the open gym. (Note: All players must be registered by 7PM on the night of the Draft Party. Registrations after that date will be accepted only if additional players are needed.)

Do the teams usually practice?

Other than the team scrimmage game before the regular season, the teams usually do not have practices.

Do I have to attend the draft party to attend?

No. As long as we have received your registration form and registration fee you will be selected for a team by one of the coaches.

Can I play if the season has already started?

Maybe? If during the season teams are in need of additional players it is possible to pickup players during the year. The registration fee will be prorated based on the number of remaining games. Email: unitybb@gmail.com to see if any teams are in need of additional players.
